Karl C. Ching
Karl is a member of Evergreen’s Policy Services Division. He received a B.A. in Politics and Economics from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. In law school, he was an editor of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review. Prior to law school, he worked at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division. Originally from Texas, Karl currently works as an attorney in Boston, Massachusetts and enjoys deep sea fishing during his time off. E: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Ryan earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology before moving to America. He then switched his career into IT and graduated with a degree in Networking Services at South Central College, Minnesota. At Evergreen, he’s responsible for our server, Microsoft 365 implementation, and providing computer helpdesk support.
VP / General Manager
Carol earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from National Taiwan University and a M.S. in Pharmacology from the University Of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Graduate School Of Biomedical Sciences. Initially working in the Texas Medical Center hospital pharmacies and as a floor pharmacist, she channeled her pharmacologic/patient management proficiency into Evergreen within the realm of accounting and management. Carol was instrumental in helping Milton start Evergreen and has been an integral part of the brand ever since.
Outside of Evergreen, she maintains a perpetual appreciation of wildlife and nature - in particular, she has the desire to visit any national park that you can possibly name.
VP / Underwriting Manager
Ali obtained a B.Com from Karachi University before working and advancing to the level of Department Manager in Marine Underwriting and later, Claims Manager at the Habib Insurance Company - one of the oldest insurance companies in Pakistan. His wealth of experience in handling underwriting and claim settlements led him to his current position as Underwriting Manager at Evergreen. He has been instrumental in establishing and cultivating relationships with both agents, agencies and carriers on behalf of Evergreen.
Outside of his work, he is a passionate car restoration/modification enthusiast - with his most recent project being a wide-body Z51 Corvette. He is also an avid PC gamer, and can certainly still defeat his sons to this day.
Ken came to Evergreen in 2002 with a bachelor's in computer science and education. Previously, he worked for over a decade as a programmer and manufacturer for a globally branded Japanese personal computer company. Since joining Evergreen, he has accumulated almost two decades of experience in underwriting, claims handling, and brokering business with a specific focus on P&C insurance.
Ken is multilingual and also speaks Vietnamese and Japanese. He enjoys learning languages and is currently refining his abilities by learning yet more languages in his free time.
Kim graduated with a BS in Chemistry before working as a quality controller for an import-export company in Vietnam. She arrived in the US in 1997 and got the MSCE certification from VSoft Institute, Houston as well as the MC nomination form Microsoft. Kim has been working as a commercial underwriter with Evergreen since 2000 and has handled accounting payable, receivable assignments, and claim services for several years.
Chloe has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She previously had experience managing large warehouses and inventories for Varsity Company International, and was also the Assistant Program Director at C2 education. She brought these experiences to Evergreen initially working as an assistant underwriter under Ali Abbas, but has developed into an exceptionally capable underwriter since.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading novels, but is hard pressed to find time recently as she is a brand new mother!
Policy Services Specialist
With a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Texas - Dallas, Pam is a policy & services specialist at Evergreen. Her responsibilities are diverse, and include system policy entry, endorsements, and tax/stamping fee reconciliation. In her prior life, she was an administrative analyst at Anesthesia Professional Billing Services.
Outside of Evergreen, Pam enjoys investigating new recipes with her daughter and vacationing with her family.
Claims Services Specialist
Kathy is a licensed P&C General Lines Agent in Texas. With over 20 years of business work experience across a variety of industries, she brought her detailed work ethic to Evergreen in 2009. Currently, she operates within the claims and inspections department. Outside, she enjoys reading novels, taking long walks, gradient jigsaw puzzles, yoga and volunteering. Dave's educational background encompasses neuroscience, public health, anthropology, and medicine. His work experience spans multiple sectors including tumor immunology, public health, science journalism and medicine. Currently at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as a resident interested in informatics, molecular genetic pathology and precision medicine, he serves as an outside consultant with Evergreen on workplace science and workflow innovation. Outside, Dave is an avid collegiate level tennis player with a love of all things outdoors (although ideally in warm climes).
